This entity's name appears in the 3 documents below. That is the entire claim. Nothing here is evidence for anything on this map, no connection rests on it, and it says nothing about what the document is about. It is a place to look next.

named as the issuing body
National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP), Washington, D.C.
The release calls it “DAF Committee to Review Project Bluebook, 1966-1967”. Release filename only, and it describes the file inexactly: the file holds records of the USAF Scientific Advisory Board ad hoc committee (1966) AND of the University of Colorado (Condon) study (1967). No single title page covers it. It is not adopted as a title here.

Generated from the record, not written by hand. Every change keeps what the map used to say, because a correction nobody can see is indistinguishable from never having been wrong.

NICAP → Donald Keyhoe
Keyhoe was its longtime director (1957-1969)
Keyhoe was its director in March 1966
THE RECORD CARRIES NEITHER YEAR AND NOT THE WORD "LONGTIME". Folio 6051 reprints a Washington Post article of 29 March 1966 which says "Keyhoe now is director of the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena, an organization whose major aims are to evaluate all UFO sightings". That fixes the directorship at one month and says nothing about when it began or ended. A caveat was considered and rejected: a caveat scopes a modifier the document does not reach, and here the document reaches neither year, so there is nothing to scope. Read as an image 2026-08-25.
