1956

Pentagon-funded FFRDC (est. 1956) whose Communications Research Division at Princeton did NSA cryptologic work. Jim Simons was a codebreaker there in the 1960s; in UAP-podcast lore Harald Malmgren is said to have used IDA as an NSC-adjacent cover. A real institution that structurally links the Simons and Malmgren threads.
