UFO Fragment Exploitation (Moon Dust)

1966

A genre of declassified Foreign Technology Division records - e.g., "Exploitation of Metallic Fragment from Unidentified Flying Object" (1966) - documenting lab analysis of recovered material internally titled as being of unidentified-flying-object origin, including fragments reported from the Congo and Nepal under the Moon Dust umbrella. A rare instance of a government office labeling recovered material "UFO" in its own internal, non-public paperwork, though conventional (satellite/missile) origins were not ruled out.
