Victor Bertrandias

1952

U.S. Air Force Major General who helped negotiate the Japanese surrender in WWII; paid an unannounced visit to a 1952 demonstration of Townsend Brown's gravitator and said afterward, "Believe it or not, I saw a model of a flying saucer... the thing frightened me... if it ever gets away, I say that it is in the stage in which atomic development was in the early days."
