Howard Percy Robertson - Caltech mathematical physicist (relativity, cosmology) and deeply-connected defense-science insider who chaired the CIA's 1953 Robertson Panel on UFOs. He steered it toward the conclusion that UFOs posed no threat and that public gullibility should be reduced through a mass-media education program - the intellectual origin of official UFO debunking policy.
