EG&G

1959–1999

Defense contractor (Edgerton, Germeshausen & Grier) that moved its radar test facility to Groom Lake/Area 51 in 1959 and ran base security there for decades. A disputed 2011 book claimed its engineers received and studied Roswell debris - a claim other Area 51 veterans have flatly denied.
