David Spergel

Princeton astrophysicist (WMAP cosmologist) who chaired NASA's UAP Independent Study Team (2022-2023), the agency's first formal UAP review; its Sept 2023 report urged rigorous data collection and found no evidence of extraterrestrial origin. Since 2021 he has also been president of the Simons Foundation, the link tying the UAP panel to the Simons/Renaissance physics-philanthropy world.
