Albert P. Crary

1946

Albert Paddock Crary (1911-1987), polar geophysicist later famous as the first person to stand at both poles. As Project Mogul's Field Operations Director he ran the 1947 New Mexico balloon flights; his summer-1947 journal is a primary record of them.
