Carol Rosin

1944

Aerospace executive — cited as the first female executive of a major aerospace company — and Wernher von Braun's spokesperson at Fairchild Industries (1974–77). Says von Braun warned her that governments would stage a sequence of enemies (Soviets, terrorists, rogue nations, asteroids, and finally extraterrestrials) to justify weaponizing space, calling the alien threat 'the last card' and a lie. Gave this account at the 2001 Disclosure Project; founder of the Institute for Security and Cooperation in Outer Space.
