Controlled Access Program Coordination Office - the Director of National Intelligence's focal point for the Intelligence Community's controlled-access (compartmented/SAP) programs. Established via DCID 6/11 (1995) and later DNI policy; maintains the CAPCO Register of classification markings and coordinates with DoD's SAPCO for reciprocity. The IC-level counterpart to the Pentagon's SAP gatekeeping structure.
